Born and raised in Albany, NY, he learned resilience early—working full-time in high school and having the responsibilities of being the oldest of four children. At 19 years of age, Timothy would enlist in the US Air Force. It is while serving as a Contracting Specialist at Holloman Air Force base, NM, that his discipline and leadership skills were honed. Later he would apply those skills acquiring four college degrees, an extensive career in Information Technology, and in his walk with God.
In 2003, Timothy gave his life to Christ, a turning point that led him to earn two additional degrees — a Master and Doctor of Divinity and service in various church roles. In 2021, he founded The Good Traveler, LLC, a Christ-centered life coaching business, using CBT, REBT, and life coaching certifications to help others navigate faith and life’s challenges.
Timothy is a gifted author and devoted Christian. His real-life experiences and deep study of biblical marriage have helped countless men and women navigate relationships and truths of marriage in God’s way. His journey began not as a writer but as a man seeking truth. Years of study led him to profound revelations about marriage, a growing collection of notes, and an ever-expanding list of people seeking his guidance. His wife, Joyce, told him years ago — and many times since — that he needed to write a book. After encouragement from his wife and close friends, he realized that God wasn’t just nudging—He was calling. Author of WOULDWORK: The Carpenter’s Blueprint for Marriage (For the Man of God), his writing is real, relatable, and rooted in the Holy Scriptures and personal experience, offering wisdom without pretense.
Timothy also mentors young men through United Against Crime Community Action Network (U-CAN). He is also a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success honor society. When he’s not studying, writing, teaching, mentoring, or playing first-person shooters, you might catch him at the bowling alley where he recently bowled his first perfect 300-game. He and his wife Joyce (who also recently bowled her first 300-game!) have been married for 16 years and have a blended family, which includes four adult children and four grandchildren.
Through his writing, mentorship, and ministry, Timothy remains committed to his personal walk with God and guiding others in their walk with Him.
